Profile

Ioulia specializes in advising and dispute resolution with regard to various fields of civil and commercial law, emphasizing on corporate and labour law matters. She has also dealt with various tax, regulatory and public tenders’ law matters, assisted Greek and foreign clients with real estate procedures and assumed the establishment of subsidiaries and branch offices in Greece.

Ioulia joined the firm in September 2017 as a trainee lawyer and has been working as a junior associate since January 2020 based in the Athens office. Prior to joining the firm, Ioulia worked as a trainee lawyer for the Special Legal Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic, mostly emphasizing on the process of signing, validation and ratification of bilateral and multilateral International Treaties with Greece as a contracting party.

During her studies she has participated as a researcher in several working groups and has also assumed and presented several projects related, among others, to modern aspects of the domain names and other distinctive features legislation, rehabilitation process in the Greek Bankruptcy Code as well as corporate governance matters in insurance companies.

Education

Ioulia has been a member of the Athens Bar Association since 2020. She obtained her law degree with honours from the Law School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2017, during which she received a scholarship from the State Scholarships Foundation. During the course of her undergraduate studies, Ioulia attended the Erasmus+ European Mobility Project for students’ exchange, as a host student of the Law School of University Jean Moulin Lyon III in Lyon, France.

Ioulia is currently a postgraduate student of the Master in Law and Economics of the University of Piraeus, expected to obtain her Master’s degree from the University of Piraeus in 2021.
