Dimitra is a Senior Associate in the firm's Banking & Finance, Corporate and Shipping practice, having joined in 2019. She advises domestic and international clients on a broad range of corporate, finance and shipping matters, with particular focus on mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance, ship finance, ship sale and purchase, aircraft financing and acquisition, restructuring and general corporate matters.

In the context of her M&A and corporate practice, Dimitra advises buyers, sellers and financial investors on share and asset acquisitions, corporate reorganisations and joint ventures, as well as on a range of general corporate law matters including corporate governance, regulatory compliance and entity structuring.

On the finance side, Dimitra has extensive experience advising lenders and borrowers on complex cross-border financing transactions, including syndicated and bilateral loan facilities and security package arrangements.

Dimitra's ship finance practice covers the full spectrum of vessel financing transactions, from pre-delivery and newbuilding financings to sale-and-leaseback structures and refinancings of existing fleets. She regularly advises on ship sale and purchase transactions acting for buyers, sellers and financiers from MoA negotiations and flag state requirements to delivery.

Prior to joining the firm, Dimitra gained experience in litigation and out-of-court settlements working as a lawyer with an English law firm. She completed her traineeship at the Athens Court of First Instance and participated in the internship programme of the International Maritime Organization (IMO).

Dimitra obtained her law degree from the Law School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and her master's degree (LL.M.) in Maritime Law from the University of Nottingham.

She has been a member of the Athens Bar Association since 2015 and a qualified solicitor in England and Wales since 2019.
