Profile

Constantina Stavroyianni specializes in litigation and dispute resolution with particular emphasis on shipping, civil and commercial disputes as well as enforcement proceedings. She also assists Greek and foreign clients on matters of corporate law including formation of companies and branch offices in Greece.

Constantina joined the firm as a trainee in July 2017 and has been working as an associate since 2020 based in the Athens office. Prior to joining the firm, she was working at Nomiki Bibliothiki Group. She has also gained valuable experience training at the Office of the Greek Ombudsman and at the Hellenic Post.  

Constantina is a co-author of the article “The British Empire Effect on the Cyprus Legal System: Nations United by Law” which has been published on HeinOnline.

Education

Constantina obtained her law degree with honours from the Law School of European University of Cyprus and she also holds an LLM in General Civil Law from the Law School of the University of Athens and a Bachelor of Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Athens.

She has been awarded with the “Best Academic Performance” at the Global Employment Law Challenge organized by the Federation of International Employers (FedEE Global) in 2016 and she has also attended “The Legal Seminar-Competition in Banking Law”, organized by the Central Bank of Cyprus, where along with her team won the first place presenting their paper titled as “Payment Services: The Liability of the Bank as a payment services provider for unauthorized payments”. She has been a member of the Athens Bar Association since 2020.

During her studies she has participated as a researcher in several working groups and she has attended as a speaker various legal conferences.
