Maria joined the firm in July 2026 as a Trainee Lawyer based in the Athens office. Prior to joining the firm, she gained valuable experience as a Paralegal at an Athens-based law firm, where she was involved in corporate, commercial and real estate law matters. She also completed a legal internship at the Athens branch of a leading international law firm.

Maria is involved in a broad range of shipping and corporate matters, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions.

Maria obtained her law degree from the Law School of National & Kapodistrian University of Athens. During her undergraduate studies, she prepared and then presented a paper in her class of Maritime Law, themed under “Drafting of a Charterparty, its practical significance in maritime commerce” for the completion of which she visited two esteemed shipping companies in Piraeus and worked closely with the relevant departments.
