Loukas has vast experience on a variety of commercial and corporate matters. He is especially noted for his work regarding mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, takeovers and corporate reorganizations. He also has many years of expertise on capital markets regulations, banking and financial services, tax and estate planning, commercial property projects and foreign investment in Greece. Loukas is also regularly involved in commercial dispute resolution.

Loukas is a co-author of the Chapter on Greece in numerous publications such as Bank Security and other Credit Enhancement Methods, Aircraft Finance: Registration, Security and Enforcement, Guide to Insolvency in Europe, Finding and Managing Foreign Counsel, Practitioner’s Guide to the Acquisition of Private Companies in the European Union, International Tracing of Assets.

Prior to joining the firm in 1985, Loukas had the opportunity to gain valuable experience working at a major law firm in Piraeus and maintaining a private practice in Athens. He has been a member of the Athens Bar since 1976.
 

Loukas obtained his law degree from the Law School of the University of Athens and has completed post-graduate studies in Economics in Oxford University.
