Andreas Giannitsis advises corporate clients on a wide range of commercial, corporate, civil, labour and regulatory law matters. He has also dealt with various mergers, acquisitions and spin-offs of companies operating in the pharmaceutical, ground-handling, banking, hyper-market and other sectors. Andreas also has significant litigation experience in civil, commercial, labor and administrative law cases.

Andreas joined the firm in 2002 and has been a member of the Athens Bar since 2002. He graduated first in his class from the Law School of the University of Thessaloniki and also obtained a LL.M. in Commercial/Corporate law, Competition Law from the University of Cambridge. Andreas is fluent in Greek and English.

• Handling various commercial, corporate, civil and labour matters on a regular basis for the groups of SONY MOBILE, HAZERA, ABBVIE, ABBOTT, BAXTER, ORANGE, FOLLI FOLLIE, BBA, MONSANTO, ARYSTA, AMERICAN EXPRESS, SCHINDLER, SAMSONITE, MAERSK and ASHLAND.
• Acted on behalf of ADT Hellas and Athens Aviation Signature Flight Support with regards to the sale and transfer of branches thereof.
• Acted on behalf of pharmaceutical companies (Abbott, Baxter) with regards to the sale and transfer of branches thereof.
• Acted on behalf of Group Carrefour in relation to the establishment and operation of super markets and hypermarkets, commercial centers, franchise networks, acquisition of local super market chains, negotiation and drafting of commercial leases.
• Acted on behalf of the MARFIN Group (including the acquisition of Olympic Airways, real estate matters, litigations, and due diligence of target companies).
• Handing litigation matters of civil, commercial and labour law (including security measures applications, collection of receivables, leases, rendering of account, culpa in contrahendo, tort and product liability, press liability, actions against payment orders and enforcement proceedings, enforcement of Greek and foreign enforcement titles, hereditary and family law matters, disputes of ownership rights, competition law cases, labour law claims and consumer protection).
